Grille..all black or leave partially chrome?
I bought an extra grille and plan on painting it. What do you guys prefer? I'm on the fence, either all black or leave the top and bottom strips chrome?
Also, thinking semi-gloss/satin or matte. Can't decide on that front either. The IPL's trim is satin and the little fog surround strips are gloss.
Opinions? IPL coupe, Graphite Shadow exterior.

Well it's just a stock IPL (on the outside). But...I never say no to photos! I am considering adding a front splitter and I'll most likely be going with a dark gunmetal wheel.

I agree with Kenny. I've honestly always preferred the midnight grille look with the chrome strip on the top and bottom. I think it complements the emblem and makes the black pop.

Other than the emblems, there's no chrome on the car anywhere other than the grille. I know leaving the chrome strips at the top/bottom will visually minimize the grille vs. all black but all black would also give it a more sinister look.
I don't plan on doing the headlights, which I just realize, have a bit of chrome in them.
I've always liked this particular car:
