You're telling me exhaust system on the IPL is true dual as opposed to a Sport that's not?? This is the undercarriage of my IPL (stock) going to one muffler. How does this differ from the Sport version?

See your y-pipe ? (Which I forgot to mention above) it connects to your mid-pipe via two pipes (both your y , and mid-pipes)
On the sport, the y-pipe goes from two (where it connects to the cats) to 1(where it connects to a single point at the mid-pipe) which then splits back to 2 just aft the y-pipe/ mid-pipe connection- then of course your muffler has bigger tips
So your exhaust has a dual path from the cats all the way out
The sport goes to a single path then back to a dual path

Wow! I had no idea about that. If you have a pic of a sport pass along. I'd like to see the difference.

Thanks

Complete list:
IPL front bumper and fogs
IPL side skirts
IPL rear bumper
IPL wheels
IPL springs
IPL dampers
IPL swaybars
IPL ECU (just get a tune)
IPL exhaust
IPL seats (or have IPL stitching done by shop)
IPL badges
IPL paint if you really wanted to take it that far
Yep, would be pretty damn expensive on it's own.

Thanks for the info guys!
You can also upgrade the IPL to IPL"Plus"/track ready by adding Gen 3 Stillen CAI, Setrab engine oil cooler, Stop Tech slotted (not drilled for track) rotors, GT spec strut tower bar, G spec performance SS Kevlar brake lines, front bumper splitter; about $2k in parts and free self labor.
Test pipes and front coilovers in the works. Thinking about Uprev tuning.

That's random, all of us would agree that's cool and all but the initial question wasn't "how to get the IPL ready for the track".

^^^
Just continuing the conversation and sharing with OP the mod potential of his IPL, as you're well aware. These mods don't necessarily make it track ready; I still drive mine daily.

Thanks for the comments, Guys. This will be a secondary vehicle for me and I don't think there's any way in hell I could mod this beautiful, rare gem. I also think it will be worth more $ later on as a stock vehicle and keeping the miles low.

Can someone tell me if stock springs on an IPL are shorter than on a Sport?

IPL gear ratios are the same as the S for the 7AT, I'm guessing they're going to be the same for the manual as well.

7AT ratios
First Gear Ratio (:1)4.92
Second Gear Ratio (:1)3.19
Third Gear Ratio (:1)2.04
Fourth Gear Ratio (:1)1.41
Fifth Gear Ratio (:1)1.00
Sixth Gear Ratio (:1)0.86
Reverse Ratio (:1)3.97
