Very hard to tell as the spokes cover the caliper up.

I think it looks great Jeff! That's a very unique choice of color and it's awesome to see somebody thinking outside the box like that! I'm definitely a fan!

And before anybody comments on him getting Akebono BBK remember sometimes for people who are married with children dropping $1,000+ isn't a smart investment!

Keep up the great work brother I'm loving the way your car is coming along!

Plus for the majority of us who don't track our cars, it's spending $1000+just to make your brakes look better.

Exactly... I personally do have Akebonos but understand 100% towards people who don't and end up not upgrading.

I think what Jeff did with his is so unique and out of the box thinking which makes it that much better in my eyes.

How is that hard to see? I understand it being an almost perfect match with his wheels but not hard to see.

Non-sport brakes haven't failed me yet!

It looks like he may have painted the back of the pads too?

I was thinking about painting my calipers stock silver or possibly black. Just to stay ahead of corrosion and keep them looking clean. All of the opinions I received were, "get a BBK!!".

Yup, I've never felt like my non-sport brakes were insufficient. I didn't even realize just how strong they were until I drove the girlfriend's civic down to DC. Holy **** it was night and day.

Does a BBK look cool? Yeah, no question. But for what I use the car for, if I need stronger brakes than what's on the car I've already goofed up hard anyway.

I say good on Jeff for doing what he wanted to do despite the constant call of BBK OR NUTHIN.

Dropping 25k+ on a vehicle in general is not a smart investment...might as well make the best of it. No one told you to make babies with people, that's your own damn fault

Yeah you're right man everyone and anyone married esp with children should all drive a 1990 Honda Civic preferably a hatchback so they can throw the baby seats in the back trunk and not have to worry about having to upgrade to bigger brakes. Sighs. Lol

Not at all, you just can't use the "bad investment" excuse for car parts when the car itself is a poor investment. Getting a 90 Civic hatch is still a poor investment, losing money either way.
Since you're only "engaged", I wouldn't expect you to understand that struggle.
Much love bromosapien.
