Test fitted tonight. It's in the raw right now. Making a few adjustments. Going to be a little lower. But, it's getting there.

Big props on trying something very unique! Not a super big fan of the QP front end, but who knows... this may look amazing.

I noticed that the Maserati logo indent wasn't shaved... are you going to make some custom emblem to put there? Please don't tell me that you're going to put a Maserati emblem on it, though.

It's getting shaved and smoothed out. No attempt is being made to replicate a Mas. Just interested in changing up what I think is a bit of a dated grill on the G. I'm looking for a Mt Fuji logo for the center of the grill mesh right now. Something like this...

It definitely does look like an angry catfish. But, then so does the Jag F-type, Ferrari California, and (not surprisingly) the Maserati GranTurismo.

We'll see. Hopefully it comes out looking good. I'm keeping my Sport bumper and may swap it back out. Honestly, this project was for fun and to learn more about custom body work. Still achieving goals on those fronts even if it doesn't come out brilliantly.

I'm on the fence. Those emblems are big (QX70). But, I bet you're right. Might be the right fit.

Nice, I like the emblem in the mesh, actually. And yeah, I agree with the SUV emblem size. It will fill out that space better, and not get lost in the opening.

*EDIT* I saw a Ghibli today, and thought of your thread. Not sure if it would work on a G with the way the top of the grill / bumper meets the hood, but the grill is more aggressive than a QP and would match the lines well, IMO.

The Ghibli front end is much better looking.
