Anyone ever take off their rear IPL bumper and put on a standard one?

I honestly don't think I'd actually change it but I have to admit, my least favorite part of the IPL package is the rear bumper. I'd love to swap in say a standard bumper with some sort of mild rear under diffuser painted body color to blend in.

Anyone ever do it? Assuming it's not an easy swap due to rear backup sensors.

Pics if you did!

LOL, if I did take it off I'd most likely just keep it and restore the car to original if and when I sell. I just find it a little to bulky and square with the flare out at the bottom.

I think that it is fairly straight forward as long as you find another standard bumper with backup sensors.

I agree, the IPL bumper is less attractive than the standard bumper and most people who buy IPL body parts exclude the rear bumper. Especially with the ability to add the rear diffuser like you said. The swap is simple and plug and play.
