What kind of coupe spoilers do you guys think look the best. I currently have the little chrome lip and am looking to upgrade. I do not want a huge wing what so ever. I am looking for something like the "duckbill" trunk type of look.

The stock chrome piece is not a spoiler, it's a lip. There are thousands of posts on the subject. Bottom line, bite the bullet and stick with OEM (don't get suckered into a "OEM Like")!

 

Is the lip not a "type" of spoiler?

 

IMHO no .... it's a chrome decoration/trim piece. That's like saying any trunk that might curve upward is a spoiler.

 

I've always referred to the chrome piece as a "lip-spoiler" so to each his own. It's a piece that goes on the top of the trunk. Call it whatever you want

 

Well no, because that is part of the trunk. It's molded into the trunk, the chrome piece is an attachment on the trunk, to me that would be considered a "lip" spoiler
