Opinions on ipl duraflex body kit for 2010 g coupe

So before dropping 900 on this kit I've heard bad things about this brand when it came to fitting. Has anyone actually had any experience in purchasing a kit or bumper from them? If so what did you think about it all? They guarantee no ditment issues so could it really be that bad? I don't need it painted on a count I plan on vinyl wrapping the entire car matt black. Thanks alot guys!

I do not have any personal experience with the kit but, like you, have seen more than a few people warning others away from it. Typically a product has a bad reputation for a reason. If you want IPL pieces I say save up the cash and go OEM. I'd rather spend more and be happy then save a few dollars only to pay it back later in repairs/alterations/fitment issues/headaches.

I have a complete duraflex ipl for mine that havent even installed yet. Dont think i gonna install it after learning about them. I will install the sides tho and do the 2011 front bumper swap. If u want IPL go to rockauto theres 2 ipl front bumpers there for sale at an amazing 2003 bucks and it might be OEM refurbished. Get it while its there

Stay away from duraflex. Save your money and go OEM. Fitment is the worst on these. Plus you have to get them paint.

I'm wondering if you read op's questions or comments?

Do you own this kit? The reason I believe op asks is to receive first hand account of fitment and relevant issues.

OP isn't "worried about paint" as they will be wrapping the car.

So, your insights intrigue. Please further expound upon your experiences with duraflex ipl style kits.

i heard theyre the best next from OEM. They do sell OEM IPL bumpers and come painted at OEM color which is a good deal. If i were to get a ipl thats where i'd get it from but im gonna run the 2011 front end

TBH, I was about to get one for a car I was looking to buy that had a terrible kit on it. Glad I didn't after seeing reviews. I would opt for the OEM chin/lip. More cost efficient than the IPL body. I just do not see it worth it.

Yea lots of txt book responses when it comes to duraflex kits but hardly ever any first hand encounters. I've bought a kbd poly front lip from extreme dimensions for my g35 coupe. It was an ings replica. Although fitment was good it was missing the entire middle section to attach to the car which I thought was odd. So I added something myself. It was no problem to do it jus alittle odd. If they gonna copy a kit atleast copy the whole thing. Idk wat extreme dimensions relationship with kbd is
