well i guess you are smarter and have sharper hearing than the techs, shop foreman, service advisor and who ever came into contact with your car. they came to the conclusion that it was normal based on their comparison with another g37 either coupe or sedan but i have no idea how you came into the conclusion that the noise you are describing is abnormal.

In case you missed it I never said the noise was abnormal. Perhaps you need a second cup of coffee because what I was inferring to is that it's absurd that the noise is considered normal on what some acknowledge as an entry level luxury car.

I wouldn't exactly call this an entry luxury car. That would be a Lexus IS or Acura TL.

But yes, I agree it is absurd.

coffee isn't gonna fix a damn thing here. i made no inferrence in my claim in regards to the noise, just simply restating what the techs, or shopforeman, or service advisor considers to be "normal". you are the one who is "unsatifisfied" with their conclusion and you yourself drew the conclusion based on your "inferrence" that it is absurd that the noise is considered normal. henceforth no matter how anyone person can explain it to you it's in your head that the professional opinion of others' who are in the field of maintaining and repairing cars' at the infiniti dealer is wrong compared to your "inferrence.

I am not sure what AroundtheG37 (or others) is hearing but I can say that I have not heard anything that matches the description of what he is describing on his G. Without hearing it, to me his description would seem abnormal

It appears however that you are simply tolling negativity at the conclusion that was drawn by the posters experience. Why are you so upset at the conclusion that he has drawn? Were you the tech that worked on his car or something?

I agree- coffee may not fix things so try fixing yourself and relax.
