I was in my garage today trying to fix my mountain bike that I recently took apart and repainted- and left the bike resting against the wall next to my car. I turned around for 2 seconds.... and I heard the absolute worst, spine-tingling, cringing sound a man can hear- something smashing against the car.
The brake lever looks to be the culprit. Does this seem like something that could be pulled out? Or filled in and repainted? If it had fallen just an inch to the left, I could've just replaced the taillight.
Going to go shoot myself in the foot now.. check back later.
I have gotten quite a few dents out which looked like nothing happened after without any paint work. However, that dent of yours can be pulled out but your paint is damaged. If you want it to look good youll have to repaint the quarter panel.
its harder for pdr to do corners particularly if they have an extra layer of sheet metal on it...
had pdr done on my rx7 and that's what I was told..

The guy from a PDR shop emailed me back and said it looks too sharp and he can get the dent out but there will be marks left over ... Also emailed some repair shops and one guy quoted $550 to have the quarter panel refinished and the dent removed.
Its probably a total loss and you are probably going to need to sell your car to me and take a significant loss on it. Sorry.
Lol....good one!!
I have the same thing going on right now from some jacka$$ and a shopping cart. Got mine in the front passenger side door. Thinking pdr will do the trick though. Yours is in a tricky spot. But hey, if you want, try the pdr first. If it works well enough to your liking, then that's that. If not, then go the extra step (and spend more money) to have the quarter panel redone.
