Has anyone ordered a Zele grill from Japan?

I've been looking around at mesh grilles and the only one that I'm really sold on is the Zele grille. The issue is I want to try and order an extra sheet of mesh for the OEM sport bumper lower grille. So I was going to try and do this through Zele directly.

Has anyone worked with Zele and shipped into the US? I saw a few other sites selling the grill but I want to get the exact same mesh for my lower grill if possible.

ZELE GT??????? ZELE ONLINE?- ???????

AutoKitsX has exact same grill and also in carbon fiber. I have one with my Zele bumper.

Yeah I saw theirs but I didn't like how thick the end pieces were. Plus it would be nice to be a little different and try and get something imported from the mother land.

I emailed Zele in Japan, they told me to deal through Bullet Automotive, Bulletproof Automotive | The Most Complete JDM Car Catalog on the Web

I just sent them an email in Japanese, I'll probably get the same response.

So I was able to work out a deal with Zele. The only method of payment they accept is a bank transfer. Does this sound safe to you guys?

Not really ... you wire money before you ever get a product, with zero recourse if they don't ship it.

Yes totally agree with this.. especially you are trying to deal with a company that is on the other side of the globe. If the deal goes sour, you are very unlikely able to claim the money back. You might want to check with your bank and Zele's bank to see if they are willing to back you up if Zele provides a bill of sales and outlines when you will receive tracking / product after money is sent. If they deviate from it, tell your bank to do a chargeback. But I doubt your bank will stick their neck out for you plus there are fx fees involves.

Your best option is PayPal. Good luck

Maybe I will talk to the bank tomorrow and see what they can suggest. The first thing I asked the Zele rep was if I could pay using PayPal. I just sent another email asking if they accept any other forms of payment other than Bank Transfer.

Bulletproof wants $600+ international shipping for this grille and if I get it directly from Zele they only want $385 shipped. I really want this to work lol...

No dice, Bank Transfer is the only method of payment they can accept for an international sale. I guess I will get in touch with my bank tomorrow and see what they suggest.

Bank says only send a wire transfer if you trust the recipient. Once payment is sent, it is gone.

Is there any reason not to trust ZELE? I haven't found any complaints on the web and they seem like a very recognized and reputable company.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and take the gamble. Screw Bulletproof and their greedy 100%+ profit margins.
