M2 axleback vs muffler delete

Hey guys so I wanted to get your opinion on what would be a better route? Obviously these are both bad but with currently being a college student with a car loan makes me broke. I want to eventually get something nice but for now I'm looking to get something cheap just to have an exhaust note. What do you guys think would be better?

I love the muffler delete on my sedan, it's a perfect balance between hush and scream. The coupe is LOUD with the muffler delete. Nothing unbearable, and no real drone, but it is a tad obnoxious. I'de still recommend it though, it sound amazing in my opinion. Also very cost effective.

How much did you pay to have the straight pipe and tips added on?

And since we are talking cheap exhausts I might as well throw in the topspeed axle back as well

I was totally happy with my M2's and it gave me time to save up and buy what I wanted. I actually have them up for sale in the classifieds now and a sound/video clip(shameless self-promotion) Seriously though, they sounded great without being too annoying or over the top.

Have 2.5 inch muffler deletes on my car. Definitely way more aggressive than the M2's or Top Speeds. Cost me 120 for material and labor minus the tips. I love my muffler deletes. And though it does seem a bit loud in the beginning, my deletes have definitely toned down and broken in over a month or two. That and I have probably gotten a bit used to it. You get drone once you break 85-90mph.

I really like it, there is pretty much no drone at all...it growls when stepping on it though. I didnt want excessive drone, especially with the convertible. I have the video clip in the exhaust thread, the car is actually on from the start of the video....thats how subtle it is at idle.
But again the M2 is a great sound....its good n throaty.

Don't do it. I've done a delete and I regret it. Low rpms sound fine but when it gets up there it sounds disgusting. I'd just save up. Put aside some money every week.. then get a good quality exhaust.

Ya I was thinking of riding mufflerless for a week or so to see if I like it before doing anything permanent.

Do any G37 exhausts give the sound of the G35 coupe? I had one before the G37 and I loved the sound

So I did the muffler delete today. The shop let me drive the car with the muffler unbolted and it sounded okay. So I told them go ahead and weld the straight pipes and now its loud. Anyway to quiet the sound down a little bit? Sounds nice just to loud for my preference. But overall sounds nice, and no drone
