Currently in market to purchase duckbill trunk csl style from Autokitz.
I am wondering how the members installed the reverse camera on their trunk.

To be honest, I don't want to make a hole on the duckbill because I love the clean nothing look on it but I also don't want to lose the camera. After debating, I decided to install the camera on the duckbill.

Do you have any alternative ways to install the camera? like.... anywhere else besides the upper trunk area?

I plan on wiring mine down to the license plate area when I get the trunk.

 

How long did the vendor told you it would take for production? or to your door?

can the people with the autokits trunk confirm how the fitment is? like oem or with weird gaps around the trunk? and needs removal of the trunk support to make it sit proper?

 

Can anyone show me a picture of your camera relocation mount location?

I talk to our local body shop and he said he can make a hole on the duckbill like how it looks like on our oem trunk.... But I would rather relocate it somewhere else where it is fully functional.
