Sources for Overseas Parts?

Hello all. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Does anyone have any contacts or know of any dealers overseas where I could search for and purchase OEM non US-spec parts for the coupe?

I've tried several searches both here on the forum and on the 'net and have even cold-called a few places but nobody wants to really be bothered and I can't seem to get any headway.

Thanks in advance and my apologies if this has been addressed in another thread. I've tried everything I could think of short of taking a trip overseas!

I tried that. I need OEM parts. I probably should have made that clear. Thanks for the reply!

What sort of non US OEM parts are you looking to buy and where are you looking to buy them from?

Basically i need the Left/Driver side power window finisher (aka, bezel) that already has the cut out for the power folding mirror switch. I did the conversion and cut a hole in my bezel but the OCD perfectionist in me needs it done right.

Plus it does not hurt to see what other parts are out there that we can not get here in the states.

Any ideas?

Are the power folding mirrors offered on Euro spec'd G's? I know they are an option on Japanese cars, but since they're RHD they'd have the switch on the right side and not the left and it wouldn't fit your car. What market sells LHD G37s with power folding mirrors? I'd guess maybe European countries besides England. A part number would probably help tremendously. If they are anything like the parts monkeys here, they are fairly clueless about parts for each individual model and need a VIN to do anything. I don't know if your North American VIN is in their system. But good luck.

Pick one.

I want to take a minute and tell you how happy I am that this thread is not a "I want to badge my Infiniti as a nissan" search for Nissan emblem-bearing trim. Good luck with your search.

From the research I have done, including Modme's DIY, the power folding mirrors were standard on all coupes (and convertibles) except for the US market coupes. I know the part number is going to be 28061-xxxxx as I checked the Nissan Europe parts catalog. Unfortunately there are over 30 different variants due to options, color, LHD/RHD, etc. with no way of really knowing which is which as there are no photos or illustrations.

Ah well, the search continues. Thanks for the input thus far.

I've heard good things about this source, but check them out for yourself first:

Thanks for the input everyone. I might have found a solution to this quest: a Infiniti dealership in the UK is graciously looking into my request.

And now a new search begins. Has anyone seen this particular mirror cover?

Attachment 105618

It appears that this cover is a OEM option on the Australian Skyline. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas before I go contacting a Australian dealership.

Thanks for your help everyone!

We need a new thread category called international OEM parts modding. I like the look of the Ausi mirrors pictured above. Good luck sourcing!

contact the dealer in AUH or DXB in UAE, they should be able to give your the part you are looking for as the model sold in uae comes with the power folding mirrors.

Thanks for the lead Presto. I just learned from my UK contact that the folding mirrors are indeed standard on Middle East coupes and is going to see if he can order it for me or at least obtain a part number. So progress is being made.

Now to find those bloody Mirror Covers from Australia's version of our cars.....

Anybody have any contacts or leads to where I could order Nissan OEM J-Spec parts? My local Infiniti and Nissan dealerships are next to useless. Apparently once you mention the word "Skyline" they all flip out.

Thanks for any and all direction.
