With push to start

How do you turn off the car engine but still keep the car on?

 

You'd have to turn the car off, then push the start button twice with no brake to enable accessory mode.

 

Or, u could hold the brake down and hit the start button twice... This is great if you have music playing, it continues uninterrupted

 

I can press it twice quickly. Does it seamlessly.

 

Or push it twice quickly.

 

If automatic just leave it in gear or neutral (I think), hit the button and then put it in park. Every auto I have ever owned works like that. I have a 6MT so that would only work if I stalled the car out which I would NOT recommend!

*edit* With 6MT, you could just not clutch it and hit the start button. But when the car is running you'd have to shut it all the way off first
