There's a red 370z in town with a single exhaust (not sure which) and it sounded horrible/raspy in person. It was really loud, heard him coming a long way back and was looking for a ragged out Honda to blow by me. He decided he wanted to race me on a busy highway in rush hour traffic and he pretty much drove like an asshat regardless. But it sounded similar to the OP's exhaust but less rolled burble down in the low freelqyency range. To each their own but I don't think it'd be livable on a daily driver.

Yes. Thats correct. It will sound badass so long as you do not do test pipes or HFC.

Subjective dude. Sound is relative to perception. Tomei sounds great. Its loud but its one of the top 3 sounding exhaust on a VQ

One last question , so i have a borla catback exhaust installed in my g37s coupe. & the borla has an H pipe instead of a Y pipe. Since the Tomei exhaust is only a y pipe back exhaust does that mean i also have to go buy a y pipe so i can go get it fitted? Or can i just bring it up to a shop with tomei & let them figure it out? Or will they tell me they cant bc i dont have a Y pipe?

You need a y pipe. Then sell the borla. Borla comes with the H so it only works with dual pipes out. Tomei is single y back. Buy a Y pipe.

Stock is so tiny and costly as much as a cheap ebay one with 2.5 in out to 3.0 get an ebay y and call it a day. Ive had my ebay y for 2 years no issues.

i have the one sold by speed daddy. Remember 350z hr 370z and g37 coupe sedan etc all share same Y pipe. Hell even early year 350 and g35 y pipes bolt up but late model are designed better flow

If it's subjective, one can't say, as a categorical imperative, it's one of the top three sounding exhausts.

No fab work was done. The entire 370z exhaust will fit the g37. Except the mufflers are shorter that is all.

You just buy the adapter thats on ebay for 370z-> to g37 coupe exhaust. Rest of bolts right up.

I have just a tomei muffler not even the Y-pipe yet and my car made 268hp/314tq

The first pull was on 5th gear and made 236/210 the next two were from 4th gear and I have a 7AT btw but I was amazed when I saw those tq numbers because I've never seen a g37 make that much torque even fbo ( Also have a stillen grounding kit )

That isn't a g37 dyno. That looks like an sti or Mazdaspeed dyno result...something boosted. Wtq readings are not correct

The torque numbers are incorrect. You didn't actually make 314 torque. It's also a mustang dyno which is why the HP numbers are also low.

I know it was a mustang dyno that's why I didn't care for the hp numbers but I'll eventually dyno on a dyno jet and post new numbers
