will a 2012 coupe Sport bumper fit fine on a 2008 coupe sport? Sorry couldn't find a thread that had my answer.

 

They are all interchangeable as long as you do coupe to coupe or sedan to sedan.

 

Ok so I don't need different mounts or anything. The dealership said I would have to change a ton of stuff so it wasn't worth getting into.

 

Yes, it will fit with small modification. The fenders, hood, and lights are the same on the different year models. The only thing you will need to worry about is the under-tray, and front fender liners. New wholes may need to be made.

 

No you shouldn't need any since most of it is the same. I'm not sure about the undertray or fenderliner but those are easy to modify yourself if you need new holes made.

The only thing I think you might need to change is the windshield washer bottle. I know that has to be changed if you are going to the IPL bumper.

This is an interesting read- I was actually looking into this myself. I love the look of the newer S front bumper.

 

Only problem is my friend did it and for some reason only on the drivers side there is a minor gap between where the fender connects to the body. Just over the wheel where it has that line it just looks a bit off.

Maybe like stated above he needs to make some hole or something not sure. Passenger side looks perfect though...
