can someone help

my car was operating perfectly fine before except it just had a slight squeal from the serpantine belt, so i sprayed belt conditioner on it. as soon as i started driving i noticed on hard accelerations i would feel a little slip in rpms then it would catch. i took it to the performance shop and they said it was the beld conditioner i sprayed so i replaced the belt myself. it got alot better but i still notice a very light slip, i know i spilled a little radiator fluid on the belt by accident but wont it dry off or can my clutch just start slipping from the 10 minutes it took me to buy the conditioner from autozone and spray on the belt? its a 6mt

If you search online, several sites talk about using brake cleaner. I had a belt that was slipping on another car (FWD) and I just held a rag on it while the car was running, but on the G with the limited space, I'm not certain that you could do that safely. Unless, you hear from someone that has a better idea, I'd say give the brake fluid a try. I'd use the plastic "straw" so you can direct the spray onto the belt better.

I would replace the belt and the tensioner. I don't know the chemical makeup of anti freeze, but it's possible/probable that the silicates can penetrate the belt and never dry. If your original belt was in good condition and slipping, the culprit is probably a worn out belt tensioner.
