Exclamation Help!

Hello everyone, any help is greatly appreciated. Last night I was driving and couldn't avoid this huge rock/boulder on the road and ran over it. Even since then, my exhaust sounds different, when i'm on the car and it's idling, there's a knocking sound coming from underneath the car. Have any ideas what it could be ? I hope it's not my oil pan, i left the sit overnight and no oil lights have came on. I drove it today, and the car sounds like i took out the resonator.

Did you....look? If you hit the oil pan, you'd see leaking. More likely you probably dinged your exhaust and now have an exhaust leak. Does it smell worse than it did before? One way or another, take a look under the car while it's running.

Exhaust leak most probable cause. Time for an aftermarket exhaust!

I looked under the car as much as possible. I don't see anything out of the norm. I'm taking it to a dealer tomorrow. If it comes down to it I think i'll just get an after market exhaust lol. That was my next mod anyways.

Unless you put on one of those JWT spacers and make the oil pan your bump feeler. XD

I'd be looking for oil puddles before waiting for an engine light.

Sounds like you just broke part of the exhaust; like warped ideas said, great excuse for an aftermarket system!

yeah i let the car sit for a few hours at work, then checked no, oil leak, but i really think i have a hole or something. It sounds like i have an ebay/honda exhaust on my g. Plus i just noticed that my gears changed later in the RPM's. They usually change around 2-3 RPM's now it's in the 4-5's. Soooo idk
