Im ready!
Im ready to join the G club!. i just recieved my tax return so im ready to go shopping for my G this weekend. ill be looking at a few 2010 G37S's with around 50k miles this weekend. hopefully i will be bringing one home. any pointers on what i should go over on the car before i take possesion?
LOL that must have been a huge tax return
First thing is the visual inspection
1. Check the cigarette burner see if there is any burn marks see if it was owned by a smoker or non smoke
2.Check accelerator/break pedals for wear
3. Carpets for dirt or any rusting on or in the vehicle
I would put some money aside and hire a mechanic to look over any vehicle you are interested in

Awesome , congrats man. Always check the carfax and get a service history if possible. Tires get pretty expensive on these cars so make sure you have some tread left. Other than that just the basics, clutch is in good shape, (A/T tranny shifts smooth) no rust etc. Also, try and find a car with some warranty left on it so if something does go wrong, you are covered. If you need me to run a car fax for you just shoot me a pm.

Yep try to do a good once over on at least 2 occasions if possible. You may love the car when you first see it but I would leave and come back a few days later. I know its a risk but it may save you from buyers remorse. Hopefully the cars you are entertaining have warranty and clean carfax. Good luck...

Make sure the headlights and taillights match exactly. One of the headlights being slightly hazier or the tint of the taillights not matching is a good indicator that it was involved in a wreck and had the light replaced. These types of things may or may not show up on a carfax.

Be sure to get it on a lift and check for any unusual marks (scrapes, etc.) on any of the components.
Welcome to the fun!
