Sold my G37 on Tuesday...New Project

As the title says, I sold my G37s 6MT Coupe a couple days ago. She was an amazing machine, but with a new job further away and having to deal with traffic I needed something a little more practical. So I said my goodbyes and was able to pick up a BMW 550i for a great price. Which means another fun build. She is still at the dealership waiting to be picked up today but so far on my list of things to get is tint, black kidney grilles, painted reflectors, afe intake and some lowering springs.

You and I have different definitions of "a little more practical", and you certainly seem to have a type when it comes to choosing car colors! Does this mean you're leaving us?

Must have a thing for blue cars eh? I've drove the 5 series and they're definitely comfortable, and the car itself drives pretty sporty compared to other sedans.

Im honestly not a fan of the F10 models. They drive like boats and cost double. I rather save a little on buying the car and have plenty for a build then spending my top dollar on a brand new one.

F30s are sweet looking though. I checked them out for a lease but the penalty for going over the mileage was crazy high and I drive too much for a 12k a year limit.

How much did it cost and what mods do you have planned?

PS: why was the G37S not practical?

Nice 5, your G was really well thought out and looked great, hopefully it went to a good home. Bet your 5 will be tastefully transformed as well. Practicality be damned

The 550 is a sharp looking car. Im not a Bimmer guy myself but I do like that car. Keep us updated on how it compares to the G (obviously it will have a few more bells and whistles since it's newer). Also interested to hear how reliable it is overtime.
