Awesome car but costs a fortune to maintain. For starters, their reliability is not as high as a G. The replacement parts are much more expensive, and since all of the engine components are stuffed in the trunk, it's very difficult to access. In some cases you have to drop the engine to perform the work.
I considered owning a 911 Turbo, but after researching them and talking to a number of owners, I realized it wasn't worth it to risk having a repair bill in the thousands.

Let me rephrase that: I live in Vegas in which a good 60 to 70% of BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Range Rover drivers believe that they are entitled/allowed to speed, pass on the shoulder, tailgate, double park and treat others like ****, simply because of the vehicle they possess. Good example: Yesterday morning I was cruising in the middle lane on the highway going about 5 above the speed limit, when a 335 passes and gets in front of me, then proceeds to slow down to 60. So I change lanes and the D bag gets back in front of me and slows down again....typical.
Considering so, I worked in retail for many years with Sprint Communications, in which the drivers of these vehicles would park in handicapped, take up two spots, come in our store, slam their key fobs on the counters and demand that they get helped immediately. They would also use their infamous lines; "Do you know who I am? Do you know what I do?" But As soon as we saw them pull up, none of the sales reps nor techs would help them. We would actually end up kicking them out most of the time due to their arrogance and ignorance.
So sorry for coming off a bit harsh, but its just a matter of what I experience on a regular basis, in which it gets pretty old.
But anyway, I have a friend who works at the Honda Dealership, so I test drove the V6 coupe and I was really impressed.

Most BMW owners are douchebags and posers. That's just a fact, and exactly the type of person that BMW caters to. However, most of the cars themselves are truly respectable, with top of their class engineering. If you're willing to accept the pricing and mechanical fragility, then there's no bad choice in owning a BMW.
That said, I'll never own one. But I might lease one someday after I retire... that's very plausible.

I completely agree with you regarding the vehicles being top of their class in engineering/technology and just their looks alone are for the most part are very attractive. In which I completely respect that as well.
