Thanks everyone, VLE1s are definitely not for everyone, but I love the look.

Its the part that the brake pad doesent touch that gets all rusty that I fear the most. I see zero rust on yours, what gives?
I recently changed my front rotors, so no rust on them yet. New ones did come painted black so I doubt there will be any visible rust over time. You can also sand down the rust and paint them with that paint above.

If you're getting BBK, I highly recommend Platinum Wheels by Carbon Collective. I have applied it in both CVT and VLE1s and the results are awesome - very little debris/break dust will get attached to the surface of the wheels.

Quick noob question op. Is lowering the vehicle required in order to put spacers in?

Looking good. I personally prefer the CVT's over VLE's... but the new wheels kind of make your car look futuristic. Like something exotic from a sci-fi movie... definitely unique!

One doesnt lead to the other.

You get spacers to have a wider stance (lower offset) aka to push your wheels outwards.

People add spacers to stock wheels after lowering because they will sink into the fenders, stock wheels have a high offset aka they're made to be completely inside the fender.

Nice rides

You have some nice rides but man I would never own a nice car like that at an Apt complex.

I remember seeing those famous pics of that Silver GTR sitting on blocks in an Apt. complex.

I lived at an Apt. complex for 6 years and I was glad I owned a POS Ford Taurus SHO.

Keep your rides safe and rent a house, the peace and quiet of renting a home far better outweigh Apt complexes.

Look around there are plenty of people who would rent you a home in some places cheaper than an Apt.

You're definitely right, I can't wait to buy a home.
