Kind if like spending $10k more on the IPL for 18hp and a body kit? Speaking of wasting money and bang for buck...

Lets see... $300 for stillen gen 3s, $499 for motordyne manifold, $800 for ark grip exhaust and $400 for tune. Less than $2000 I'd say is good..... Also how can u sit there and compare an NA car vs a boosted car when it comes to bang for the buck horsepower...

Nice car man, and ppl need to learn to stop listening to others and develop a mind of their own, use others "advice" as a tool in making your decision if you'd like but thats it. Everyone has different opinions and outlooks on life much less an automobile and how to mod it. Mod your car how you want to make you happy and f*** what others think. You pay the note (if you have one), pay the insurance, and put gas in it the sh**.... Its getting a little old with some members calling some mods that plenty of members have rice... Gimme a break.

Then waste more money badging a non IPL with IPL badges and try to pass it off as an IPL. No one's ever done that right?

Welcome to the forum OP and congrats on your IPL purchase. While some of the forum members here have good intentions with their advice, their advice may not be the greatest. There's some very smart people on here, and there's see not so smart too...you'll get a feel for who's who on here in time. Remember, opinions are like a$$holes...everyone has one and they all stink. I will say there is a wealth of information on this site from product reviews and specs to dyno sheets, so make sure to do your research before modding...don't just look for those "opinions".

Here's a bit more advice. Do whatever you want to your IPL. It's your car. If you want to put TP on it, go right ahead. What's the worst that can happen? You don't like the sound and take them off then sell them used? You wanna put intakes on the car, do it...it's your car. As N2S said above, until the people telling you what to do or not to do to your G pay your car note, they have no say in what you do to your G so screw them.

Good luck and happy modding!

That's pretty good, but in OPs case it will be worse since his car is already making more power from the IPL exhaust and tune. It will limit how much more he can get from his breather mods.

Anyway if it was worth it for you great, but me personally I don't feel like its worth the money since I've experienced how much faster something like a 335 gets for jut $400-$500, the G can't do that with 5x the money invested in breather mods. I'll stick to suspension mods or save up for FI.

BTW, I apologize if my original post sounded like an attack or soemthing, it wasn't my intention. Just making sure the OP gets the most bang/buck haha. It is your car though, so you get to do whatever you want to it.

Can you show real gains or is this just on paper? because the 3.7 does not do well with bolt on unless it's a CBE.

Most will agree, test pipes, headers, CIA. Don't do anything but make noise. Your Dino can show 32HP all it wants but unless you can feel it down low and up top it's not doing anything but blowing up your head and smoothing over your pride.

No hard feelings!

Correct me if I'm wrong GTLost, but a dyno is used to measure gains unless you have a telepathic connection with your car that tells you your gains? You sir should probably drink a gallon of bleach before bed tonight and do us all a favor.

why does everyone keep saying IPL is 10k more then the G37S? The sticker price on the G37S and IPL was only 2K more when I was looking at them last year?

No feelings hurt you just have no clue what your talking about when you try to sound like you do. What sort of proof other than a dyno sheet would you care for him to produce to prove gains? Butt dyno is not a proven gain so feeling there gains like you speak of are clearly useless. And if anyones feelings are hurt it's the guy who tried to lie and say he had an IPL to the point he got flamed so much he traded in said fake IPL for a real IPL, same guy who got laughed off the V36 group and cried he won worst exhaust at zdayz to the point of getting his registration fees back to compensate for a new box of tampons. Clearly you need help sir and I hope you find it soon.

Sorry... But your post just made me you clearly have no idea wtf you a talking about.

I dug this up just for you.

My baseline "DYNO" was 270whp. Here's my dynoplot. 285whp is with ark grip catback, motordyne manifold, and stillen gen 3s untuned. The 302 whp is after the tune...AFRs were ran safe for reliable power. Tuner said he could squeeze out more but AFRs would be more aggressive.

My car feels much faster with my mods and tune... And how is showing gains on paper not real????

(Awaiting your bound to be rediculous reply)
