Owner Loyalty?? Infiniti

Hi I am about to buy a G37 Coupe and i wanted to ask about owner loyalty and others experiences with it from infiniti.

Basically they are charging me $1000 on top of the price of the vehicle for owner loyalty as i have not owned an infiniti before...

now it strikes me strange that i have to pay this... surely you dont pay for this you just get it if you decide your next car will be an inifiniti??

has anyone else seen this... Thanks

Owner loyalty is normally a rebate off the sticker price and not a surcharge. Many other brands offer owner loyalty rebates for returning customers.

Just been informed... it was left off the ad they used to entice me in... So the deal was good but it said in fine print - includes owner loyalty rebate.

So if i want that price then i had to have an infiniti - which would have given me the 1000 off - as i dont have it i have to add that to the price.

fine print sucks

Why don't you just say you owned one before but make up some story why you don't have there/selling or sold it already? I'm sure there's a way around this, unless this is referring to a direct Infiniti trade in.

Tell them to knock off the 1K or you will find another dealer that will.

A Jeep dealer pulled that on his online price near me. As I was walking out (without buying), he told me that was the part of playing the internet game- an enticing price with caveats.

I can't imagine them letting you walk for $1K...

This. Tell them the advertise price or you are going to BMW / Audi.

It's actually called conquest cash, this is when then entice you to switch brands.
My parents got that, they traded in a Benz for a g37.
Only way I can see them not giving it to you is if you are not trading in a car.
Usually only luxury brands do this.
GM/Dodge/Ford call it something else.
