Thumbs up Finally a G37 commitment

Hello my fellow G's!
I am new to this forum, before I was on bimmerfest (I know, I know). Well at least I made the move. Previously I owned a 07 335.

Now I am commiting to a G37. Hopefully I will pick it up by this month.

I just wanted your opinions on whether or not it would be worth financing/leasing a 2013 G37XS?

Now for a few fun questions if you guys don't mind answering. I tried searching here, but a lot of threads, and hard to find personally.

First, does g37 (2013) have a launch control? If not, what's the best way to launch for a 7AT (DCT)?
@ 15:25 is a perfect example. I'm assuming it's the GTR launch control.
I'm assuming break while slowly flooring then letting go of the breaks?

Second, im planning on having this exhaust setup
What does myg37 think? Do you think this sounds sexier than the stocks?
This is a Berk HFCS + Magna flow MP + Topspeed muffler setup

Just want to thank MYG37 for the time and I appreciate your thoughts in advance!

By DCT, I am assuming you mean Dual-Clutch Transmission. The G37 does not have one. Nor does it have launch control. The car you are thinking about is the GT-R.

Unfortunately the car does not hae a DCT. Only the GTR has that feature if I am not mistaken.

I made a similar jump. Welcome to the forums! Infiniti guys are extremely sarcastic. So take there dry humor with a grain of salt. Happy Modding!

g37 would murder my current 335..

In general, 335 is better yes. However I felt for the price difference, it wasn't that far off.. I have to pay almost double monthly to lease a 335. Not worth it.

I actually preferred 2013 g37 over the 2013 335. 2012 and 2013 335 is total garbage imo, especially with the new eco friendly steering. It is just terrible.

Have any of you guys claiming the 335i/xi > g37 ever actaully own one?

I actually have to agree with OP. The cost of ownership is night and day. Sure on paper the BMW looks way more attractive, but how many of you want to deal with the HPFP issue? or a $10k transmission?

I miss my BMW no doubt, but I'd take my infiniti over my old BMW any day of the week.

The only issue I see... I have a RWD coupe and I live in minnesota...

You'll have to excuss some of the folks on here. Trust me once they buy a 335i then they will be talking about another car that is greater than the 335i. Some people will never be happy, when I was 20 something I was the same way.
