When I bought my black 6mt, it was the only one within 200 miles.

Texas, Georgia and California seem to have the best concentration. One of the high end used car dealers here has a Blue '11 Coupe 6MT with 18K miles and in great condition. They've had it for 2 months, doesn't seem to be selling. It's the only G37 6MT of any kind I've seen for sale in Colorado. I had to import my 6MT sedan from California.

 

They are very rare. I knew I had to hop on mine within two weeks of it being on autotrader. When I brought up the rarity to Infiniti they said its because the MT model of the G37 makes up about 1% of their production of that car. Very stunning statistic to hear, but makes sense nonetheless.

If this is accurate, it seems that only 432 coupes were built in 2008.

 

Nice find but there might be more built. I looked for my 2008 sport 6mt BIN and its not listed

Based upon 2013 ratio sedans to coupes approximately 70% sedans. Total sales of G37 through 2012 = 287,588. 30% coupes = 86,276 + 6,261 so far this year.

If we are correct in our assumptions, (5% being 6mt) approximately 4,600 were 6mt's, including this years sales.

 

I'm in the Dallas area and there were a handful but only two black ones within a couple hundred miles. One was in Oklahoma City, and one was about 3 mins from my house... Took me about two months to find the right one though.

 

About a month ago, I saw a new G37S convertible 6 MT in a local dealership. I thought I'd never see one of those. I've seen automatics, but never a 6 MT. But I am sure it was sold. The dealer is in the Washington DC area (Northern Virginia to be exact).
