did a little plasti dip change to see how I like it.

And if after a few days I continue to like the change ill peel it and OFF to the paint shop I go!

(good thing about plasti dip if you want to test how something might look like matte black, you dont have to actually paint it and regret it later!)

its the first time I ever tried to dip something to bare with me....




oh and after looking at it for a bit, i already decided i want my Grille fully black instead of Midnight style with 2 chrome fins left on top and bottom.

I Like it man, did the same with my IPL front. Consider wrapping it instead of painting it. That way its still removable.

 

Looks good...you may want to wrap it in vinyl instead of painting it. The vinyl is more resistant to chipping from rocks and road debris than paint. Cheaper and looks just as good.

Get Gloss Black Wrap Op... once its painted I'd get heavy clear done to stop the chips... adding gloss wrap will be cheaper by far yet prevent chips and cheaper to fix if chips happen vs paint...... as for the Grill yeah all blk to really bring out that red... Black wrap the Chrome fog rings below too...

Black wrap the mirror covers too make it look really aggressive from the front...

 

really like the 2011+ sport bumpers. and gotta love the VR

 

I suggest you vinyl it so it won't be permanent, unless you plan on holding onto that front bumper forever.

and a stupid question if anyone can answer.. do the 2011/12 sport bumpers (not the aero/ipl) bumpers fit a 2008?

 

Yes... it fits no mod...

Both the Aero and 11-13 sport bumper need Slim tanks to run fogs... Aero can work fime with the Deletes... but the sport does not have Deletes like the Aero but to answer your question it does fit...
