New to Infiniti

I just bought a 2009 G37x last month and love it so far.

Are there any tips or warnings you guys can offer me.

Would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

welcome to the forum~~

What kind of tips or warnings were you looking for?

Just put good gas in, wash her, clay her, wax her, don't eat in the car~ but never let the dealer wash it, or any other place that is not touch-less, brush-less.....

And enjoy the ride~ and are you going to mod it or keep it stock?

Welcome,

The Infiniti brand is pretty darn reliable so no worries there. Some have had minor issues, all are searchable in the forum but for the most part we are very happy customers. You will want to do some MODS, choose wisely. For some things, go OEM and stay away from eBay (aka body add-ons like spoiler).

These cars run hot so don't cheap out on the oil and get lazy on the intervals.

Enjoy!

Best advice you can get... GET OFF THE FORUM NOW before you start modding!!! LOL. I was of the "I'll probablly keep eveything stock" type of person. Then came the forum. A couple thousands of dollars later, and I still have the itch to do more. LOL

In all seriousness though, the forum is an awesome resource for anything you need about the car. You'll probablly come to hate certain people. I have a huge inner grudge against G37Sam (Pure jealousy) that i have never voiced until now lol. But from Mods to regular upkeep of the car, this is the place to look.

Best tip i can give... Drive it like you stole it

Start out cheap and easy and replace the OEM interior bulbs with LEDs. There are a lot of threads about it over in the Lighting section. Big impact for very little money and effort.

Welcome to the site, at least you didn't type Infinity, that might get you perma-banned
Have a blast w/ your new car and you think you may be immune to the mod-bug, but there really is no vaccination that works at the moment

Tint, drop (spings are cheaper, or coils if you want better ride), and new rims?
IMO those three just makes the G much more ~~

and all other mods are up to you, some people do performance mods first, others do body kits and other mods to make the G stand out~
