Ok so enough of the blah, blah, blah on the New series.

What I'd like to know is when a new coupe is going on sale?.

My plan is to pick up a 2011 or 2012 at a good price when ever they come out with whatever 2014 coupe.

 

2014's Sedans are on the Lots ... Coupes still our body Style should Show up soon by Aug Sept... as for the New Q60 Coupe Late 2015 is the projection The GM at my Dealership said last week...

 

I had the exact same plan in 2007 before the G37 coupes came out. I'm glad the last 6MT G35 coupe was sold to someone else and I ended up with my G37.

 

So the Coupe is still another 2.5 years out?

I hear something different every week... No new coupe next year either then?

 

Yes. Only the new sedans are coming out this summer. The coupes always come out a year or two after the sedans.

 

2014-2015 will have a Q on it the Mgr said but still our body style... the new Q60 will be introduced in mid to late 2015 as a 2016 model ..

I'll wait to see a year after the first run goes by to see if i'll go that way or go GT-R... other topics on this available in the search function or look at the Future Forum .... many threds...

 

Not sure when they go on sale but I can tell you Vibrant Red and Lapris blue are gone and Venitain Ruby is in on all Q60s minus IPLs.

 

The 2014 coupe will be named Q60. my IPL will be Q60 IPL.

 

What type of Bull is that, they are rebadging the G37 IPL for 2014. How can you change the whole name of the car, they are just doing it to get by for another year with the same body style, but if you are gonna release a new body style for 2015 Model, why use it up with a older body.

Thats like someone saying Ya I got the Q60, and he would have a 2014 Rebadged G37 and another new 2015 Buyer would be like WTF you have the same car?


Watch that, Its just the G37 IPL Rebadged, All good with me, I will drive my G37 for few more years till the new body comes out.

I am hearing the new coupe body will be out in late 2014 or 2015 - I got my G37 in Later 2007, arent bodys changed every 5 Years, I thought this year would be the year for the coupes body change.

Infiniti is waiting 6-7 Years until bringing out a new body, is that not different than what the Auto World does?

What is your guys opinion on the NEW IS Body?

DRL, BSM, Cool air seating, a GTR type NAV computer and gives you many more screen options, indie TPMS, changeable driving modes

 

If I glued Q60 and IPL badges on my 2008 S and dyed the seats red, I'd have the same car.

 

I doubt they are gonna add all that on a 5 year old model, when its the last year, the IPL was enough, and they are spending enough on engineering the new Q60, they are just juicing out what they can out of the Last year of the same body

If you debadged it, you can just tell people its a Q60, lol you can do the IPL body kit and etc for that name. My interior is custom and has its own body kit so I can just tell people I have a new Q70S IPLS lol Make whatever up

 

My dealer (Santa Monica Infiniti) told me summer of 2014...

 

Sounds more realistic, but you never know, they might be working on a twin turbo version for the coupe

 

They should wait for the new body style to introduce the new naming convention IMO
