I am thinking of trading up for a White Vert 2014 IPL Q60 with 6MT. Or should I wait for next Gen IPL. But I'm afraid that next Gen IPL will be like almost $80K

 

Yeah most likely it will cost more..But you will also have to wait 3 or more years for the new IPL.

 

I know, I don't see any white Verts IPL around. Only issue I am seeing is the fact I can't do the kind of mods to the suspension I want with the vert!

 

theres a white vert IPL down in NOLA. looked clean!

 

I'd wait for the next Gen Q60. The one now is the same car with a different badge. But there's no way in hell I'd pay $80K for it.

 

The next Gen IPL will have to have at lest 450HP. The Lexus IS-F BMW 4M will all have 450HP+

 

Wait... So did we find out if this will have 6MT as an option? I was under the impression that might not happen for awhile.

 

I really liked my IPL, yes its gone but that was a flippin nice car. I would have no reservations owning another.

 

I feel like the new Infiniti line will be too docile. Plus what could you possibly need in it besides wanting a different look and few extra buttons?

 

Considering no one knows anything about the next generation Q60 IPL or not, this is all a relatively baseless guessing game. If you like the way the vert/coupe looks now- just get it.

The only thing we can say with impunity right now is that the next gen model is years away. You could get a 2014 model and then be ready to trade the car is for the next gen whenever it comes out.

 

How about an updated power train

 

I have heard from several sources that the next Coupe or IPL (may be named something other than IPL) is going along the lines of the GTR power train (maybe in RWD format). On top of that I took a survey from infiniti last year that heavily suggested they were working on a REAL high performance sports coupe.

 

..... and it will include a built in waffle maker. We just don't know folks.
