Broken Bumper need advice

So there was these metal pipes on the highway and I rolled over them and they did this damage... Didn't see the pipes on the road until the SUV infront of me already rolled over them.

OK guys have any of you dealt with this situation before. I'm thinking I should get my insurance involved. Hoping they don't screw me. But i need to check to see if there is any other damage i.e to the rear driver side wheel base or undercarriage as well. Man this blows...

Are there any decent bumpers out there worth getting?

Yeah I'm sure your right Vader. Do you think they will go for the repair or replacement? or is that dependent on what dealership quotes? Never went through any kinda of claims process before.

Thats a Automatic replacement with the Bumper tare... honesty if your planning to mod get the Aero rear from Sewell painted and sides... just tell your insurance and make a claim for Road debris I had a Stray tire on the road damage my side skirts... made a claim... they cut me a check from a quote and done... though if you have a ded then they will deduct that portion and rest out pf pocket... mine was $50 ded and still a $450 check lol paid for another set of Aero sides... just have to keep a distance now for road debris from other cars hitting stuff... hard lesson learned... I keep a long distance now... this happened a Week ago for me... no hit on insurance since I have that coverage...

Good luck!

Geez man $50 deductible! What are your monthly payments like im curious. I'm at $500. Yeah I go in tomorrow for insurance estimate... with a $500 deductible it is looking to close to an out of pocket situation but we shall see. I will hoist it up today to see if there is any visable damage to the undercariage or wheels.

So I got my insurance check today, they were going to put a refurbished bumper and going through all the paint/labor work so I decided just to order the aero bumper and also sides all ready with factory paint. So it all evens out and i get a new bumper instead of refurb.

I also checked with 2 random infiniti dealerships, that foam shock absorber in the rear will fit both ipl and normal bumpers so no issues there.

I want an aero rear bumper to go with my aero front bumper myself. The aero rear bumper is exactly what I would have suggested you got after damaging your old bumper. Now I just need to find some pipes to drive over.
