has anyone had rattling coming from the little bracket where the sunroof is, if so how did you get to the bolt tighten it up?

 

does it rattle when its open/vented, when its closed, or both?

 

i mainly hear it when the sunroof is vented or whe. its completly open

 

I remember reading about this. Try doing a search, iirc there's a how to on what needs to be tightened.

 

most people with sun roof rattles take it to the dealer and they apply some lube/grease which seems to help, but for some the rattle comes back. i have wind noise when its vented around 60mph, but the dealers magic lube didnt help

the person at the bottom of this thread said he took his headliner off to expose the rails, then tightening the bolts worked, but not sure if that isnt something the dealer could just do if your still under warranty.
