no experience with this particularly but I have tried installing other vinyl overlays on headlights and its very difficult to get it just right unless you have a bunch of practice. Best left to a professional installer. The look is good though.

blue bat overlays is a vendor on this forum and does all sorts of overlays for our g's:

i just had tail overlays and the valance overlay installed on my car yesterday. i paid a local automotive graphics installer to do it. i watched him for a while and it looked like no fun (patience is not a virtue i have and it looks like it takes a lot of it!). it came out great but as the previous post said, i wouldn't try doing it myself unless you know how.

I purchased the rear valence vinyl overlay from Blue Bat. I had a local shop put it on for me. I don't have the patience for that kind of stuff...ha. The vinyl overlay plus the labor came to $100, well worth it IMHO. It looks great with Moonlight White.

A cheaper alternative would be to mask off the area and Plasti-Dip it.

I've actually worked with Plastic Dip a lot on my previous car, but I'm a little tired of it so thats obviously why I'm looking into vinyl instead!

I had it on mine and its a good alternative to painting or an aftermarket diffuser. Install was done by a sign shop. They had a hard time around the exhaust area.

not saying you should

You can use plasti dip and do the same thing.. will cost you about 10 bucks and the heat isnt an issue because i saw a guy that had painted the exhaust in it on an s6 with no problems. tape will be your only problem unless theres a lip and in that case it will self cut. my 11 sport is diffrent so i dont know if there is one on yours.

+1 for Bluebat and installation takes 30 mins tops. All you need is an ounce of patience. Good luck!
