Horrible morning

Woke up this morning to drive my g, after a long vacation been wanting to drive it bad. I go to start and it doesn't start, all interior and dash lights came on but car didn't start up. Now I'm pissed off, I kno it's needed an oil change prolly like 1k miles ago, and has been sittin in the freezing cold NY streets. It's an 08 wit 69k. Before this recent time away from the car, always replaced filters and oil at 3k. Is there anything I can do to find out what's the problem before I pay a tow n mechanic all my money?

Probably just the battery, especially if its been sitting for too long....get a jump.

Pump up the tire. May have a slow leak in one of them....and it's been sitting for a while.

Yeh it tries to turn over I hear some belts I guess but not gettin to actual start. It's been sittin but My lady generally started it every morning to switch sides in the street. Going to try to jump but if battery was dead, no interior lights should come on right?

When you hit the start button and it tries to crank then you need a jump start.
If you hit the button and nothing happens (crank wise), this happen to me this winter when I haven't drove the car is a few days. I simply turn off all the AC, radio or anything that puts a load on the engine and and tries to start again and it worked.

Tries to crank up but doesn't, tried turning off radio, heat, and all other non essentials, still doesn't start.

Yep....and most of the time you'll be able. Having a "dead battery" just means it doesn't have enough amps to turn over the starter.....unless its completely dead, there's gonna be juice left for lights and radio. Also, how old is the battery? Could have a bad cell which would also affect amperage.

Srsly, try to jump it. It's the simplest thing to do at this point.
