Rumor has it.. Invidia - HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER with HKS's hi-power exhaust... then again any exhaust with a straight pipe/ high flow cat is loud as F9ck... or you can just do a custom straight pipe all the way from the exhaust mani to the rear like hard core race cars. i'm pretty sure that will wake up the neighbors

You won't get much feedback on this forum. My mbworld account is amaing and full of insightful and helpful people. I joined here and I get NO HELP. I'm still trying to figure out if a GReddy exhaust fits my 2013 g37xS coupe and no one replies. Your best bet is a exhaust system with some headers

If you want loud then get test pipes. Im running Berk Test Pipes and they add a lot of extra HP and give you one really aggressive sound. I used to run Top Speed Y-Pipe and Axle Back with Berk Test Pipes and it was loud as ****. (Check out the video) But now I got an Invidia Cat-Back Exhaust because that set up was just too loud haha

Probably because "best" is completely subjective. What sounds great to one person may sound like crap to someone else. What kind of an answer are you looking for? It sounds like you're bitter because no one will do your homework. Why is it our job to find out what fits on your car? Why not be proactive and call GReddy?

The OP asks for loudest and best-sounding. To me, that is oxymoronic because, in my opinion, loudest does not necessarily correlate to "best." I do not like a loud exhaust. People on this forum love ARK. I would never buy anything from ARK. People on this forum think it is "crazy" to spend anything over $1,000 on an exhaust system. Some people replace a perfectly functional stock exhaust system with one made in China that put them back $250 and call it the "best." These types of threads get deleted every day because "best" is a matter of opinion. I wouldn't put down the members of this forum just because you haven't found the answer for which you're looking.

As for your suggestion about headers, headers are a headache to replace on this car and many deem it a task not worthy of undertaking because the horsepower gains will be minimal.

Well said bill

I'm beginning to think that these threads are made by members on here with multiple accounts just to stir the pot.

How unhelpful. Sheesh....You're proving him COMPLETELY right!

My contribution would have been to fvck the exhaust. Just remove everything from the headers back. That will give me the loudest and bestest exhaust evah!

Don't do what I did on the bike... 2 brothers exhaust, gutted cat. Bike sounded great, but was completely unridable without ear plugs. I loved it. They heard me coming from at least 1/2 mile away. On the highway, cars knew of my presence. Don't think this sort of experience would be too favorable in a car. Maybe a civic, but not an infiniti

What do you know what I did? I did a full search all over this forum. I called GReddy and they couldn't help and they insisted I check with the forums. On my mbworld account I have helped plenty of newbies out and I don't need no one to do homework for me so wtf are u saying?

If I see someone needs help and I can help I will. There is no response here what so ever. I made introduction thread and nothing. On my regular forum we greet people open arms. There's always people who don't search but I do my homework and making a thread is a last resort thing for me

He wants loud and headers and exhaust will result in a loud @ss exhaust.

You really believe people have absolutely nothing better to do with their time but to bust chops of random people they don't know over the Internet? I made an introduction thread and an exhaust question thread and both for little to no feedback what so ever. NOT HELPFUL. If it was helpful I would be promoting and speaking wonderfully on how much feedback and help i received.

Loudest and best sounding is subjective. Many members have posted their opinions and sound clips on various exhaust systems and components for you to listen to throughout the Intake/Exhaust forum. Have a stroll through there and read our thoughts and listen to clips to see what you like. Then if you have an actual question about something specific that isn't addressed already (HINT: it probably has been if you look hard enough), ask it. Good luck with your choice.

Perhaps nobody has helped you because nobody knows the answer because nobody has tried it. Did you even consider that before proclaiming that people aren't helpful? Would you rather someone tell you yes it fits and then you buy it and it doesn't fit? You'd complain that you were lied to or given poor advice. Just like your header advice. Headers on this car are very difficult or expensive to install and give relatively minimal gains for the cost. That's why so relatively few people have done it.

My educated guess says that no, the Greddy exhaust will not fit the X coupe due to the shape of it's Y pipe and the shape of the transfer case on the X. But I don't own an X; I just deduce this from reading what others have already posted about them on this forum and from looking at photos of the underside of their cars. Did you look at he underside of your own car? Did you look at photos of the Greddy exhaust? Does it look like the Y pipe will fit around the transfer case? It doesn't to me. If Greddy doesn't even know themselves, how do you expect that someone here can give you a definitive answer unless they have tried it?
