Hello all!

I've finally came to a decision and decided to get the IPL body kit (front bumper and side skirt) for my 2008 g37s coupe. I called Infiniti earlier today and they quoted me at 3,300 just for the side and front bumper. Ridiculous amount if you ask me.. I wanted to see if any of you guys out there can help and suggest any good vendors on this forum. I tried looking around but was not having any luck. LOVE the 2 attached photos!

 

Sewell infiniti has the side skirts painted for 375 shipped thats the best deal i know of righ now

Call them back and tell them you want the Full Aero kit! The full Aero kit is listed on Infiniti site for under $3000. Don't tell them you want IPL.

The Aero kit will get you front bumper,sides,rear bumper.

 

^ they don't know or he doesn't know? He asked for IPL that's what they quoted him. If he asked for arrow maybe it would have been a better price?

 

Speaking of the IPL kit. Can anyone shed some light on this:

Looking for the rear ipl.. there are two listed in black. one just says black for over $900 and the other shows painted black pearl for just over $300. Which of these is the IPL rear bumper that goes with the front/sides? Also is Black pearl the same as obsidian black they just changed the name but not the colour?

 

First off, the "he" you are referring to is actually a "she." Secondly, this forum is designed for people (like me) that is not an expert when it comes to car and is just seeking for help/suggestions.

Nobody was trying to down you. Not too many people know that two different options exist. I just didnt see why he/she said the salesmen didnt know what they were doing by giving you the quote you asked for.

Maybe that sales clerk hasn't sold an arrow or IPL kit and doesn't even know there is a difference, maybe he assumed you wanted the IPL kit since that's what you asked for.

I apologize if you felt offended those weren't my intentions at all.

This forum is very helpful and you'll ge great information from good people. The arrow front fascia is cheaper in price and the only difference I know of is the chrome inserts in the bottom foglight housing area of the front fascia.

I have thinking of the same set up. Waiting till the G is out of the garage and the snow melts in the city. I will send you the link to the quote I got from Sewell. I am going through with this when the spring comes.

Hey guys. I was going to go buy the IPL front Bumper from Infiniti parts and the Gray and Blue colors used to sell for $283 but now all the Colors sell for $1500!! like seriously I was right about to buy mine today in gray and get it painted black and now they all sell for the same price!

going to call the deaer I bought my IPL bumper from....I will post if the price is still the same or jacked up to $1400+
