car "wobble"...because of snow?

We had a pretty large snow storm here in the north east yesterday. I had the dubious pleasure of driving through it to get home. Blizzaks got me through it.

Today, a day after, when I started up the car and started driving, there was a noticeable wobble at speed above 40mph. I stopped at a gas station, noticed snow caked in the wheel wells and cleaned it out. Wobble solved.

Was this happenstance or did the extra weight of the snow actually screw up my balance?

Any similar experience?

Extra weight of the snow threw off your balance.

Experienced the same thing a few weeks back. Snow built up and froze to the the inside of the rims. Once I scrapped the snow out of the rims wobble was gone for me.

had this problem with my maxima a few years back. just check the inside of your rims for snow build-up. i just drove it and it cleared out on it's own.

I'm glad other people had a similar experience....though I was kind of proud of my self for figuring it out!
