Plasti Dip ... EVERYTHING???
https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php
Anyone have any experience with this website? Have you ever plasti dipped any/all/part of your car. I found it on the camaro forum and it looked pretty interesting. Change the color of your wheels or car for a small time and then come back to what you originally had. Seems like a cool idea.

I guess I should have been more clear with my post then.
Has anyone used this website and if so, have you done any body components BESIDES the usual emblem, front grill and wheels in black.

IF I'm not mistaken, Qpham45 posted about his experience plasti-dipping his entire car. The thread died out so I'm not sure if he ever finished or just did one body panel, etc. but you could always PM him and ask.

You're not mistaken. That thread is in the search results I posted. It also has a link in the very first post of the thread to another forum where the company he's asking about posted pics of an Audi S4 that had been done entirely in PlastiDip. But I suppose what he was looking for something different.

Looking for what a g37 coupe would come out like with some body panels vs all body panels plasti dipped and if anyone were to use it for protection for track applications. I saw in the search a s4 and a g37 sedan that looked like an instagram picture, a million threads about plasti dipped wheels and a million threads about plasti dipped front grills and emblems. I was looking for something along the lines of what this guy did:
Matte (Plasti-Dip) ZL1 Camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums - Camaro5.com
If posting another forum breaks any rules, please let me know. I'm just trying to use it as a reference.
As you can see, he does the whole car and then only parts of the car and does it rather quickly. It looks pretty good and I was wondering if the g37 coupe would come out looking just as good.

I probably will in the spring time. I'm surprised nobody has experimented with different colors and part combinations using plasti dip.
Haha, i'll hit him up then.

You should do it OP
...thats what I been waitin' for...somebody with the man-b@lls to dip an entire G-coupe! I think that ZL1 was tight, and if you read that thread there was a two-toned "black-n-yellow" GTR that was tight too.

I'm gonna have to agree with swisscheesehead and agree, I do **** plastidip. I have used almost every color of plasti dip. After endless testing with plastidip, I would NOT try it on my whole G37. I had my wheels dipped and after 7 months a bit of the paint came off when I tried to peel them. However, given people saying infiniti uses very soft paint, I am not going to be plasti dipping my whole car at the risk of peeling the paint off.
BTW my car currently has blue rims (plasti dipped). My rear valence is plasti dipped black, my front emblem is dipped blue, my chrome spoiler is dipped black.
I did plan to do it baby blue. It would look cool, just not gonna take the risk. But I am in the process of plasti dipping my whole honda accord.
Of course at the end of the day, it may not be the same result for you, you can go ahead and do your whole car if you want.
Here's the paint that you can see peeled off my rims when I was removing the dip:
G35 on the g35 forums couldn't get his plasti dip off his leased car, used a power washer and ended up taking the paint off his car:

Ahh damn, now this is the repsonse I was looking for. Sucks that it took the paint off. I have to admit that it does look good with the plasti dip on but it seems that if you keep it on for prolonged periods of time, then you will have issues with the paint coming off.
Thanks for all of the helpful info. I greatly appreciate it.
