Bottom Line!! If you are buying the first year model run in which is an 2008! you going to have problems! Also if you are under the age of 25 and you buy this car and you start trying to race it out!! and you don't know WTF you are doing! you going to make even bigger problems for your self!

Bottom Line!! don't buy an 2008! don't buy a car that you can't afford to take dealer to have thing's fixed!!

And don't jump on internet bad mouthing the G37 because you don't know WTF you are doing and can't afford the car in the first place!!! Go buy an Honda! and race that out!

Sorry, I'm not with you that someone buying the first model year should simply expect problems this severe. If it were truly a "problem" with the car (which I doubt it is), I wouldn't be okay with that if my car were a first-run model.

But I think we have a pretty good idea of what the real problem is- or at least what it's related to. Occam's Razor and all...

 

Lol. There's no problem with 2008 g's. Issues with battery/bcm and muffler rattles would have been taken care of. There's not a single thing mechanically different from 2008 to 2012. That being said, please sell your car and get something else and leave the forum. Either that or be honest with your posts when you want help with a problem.

Whatever you did to your car installing you intake is causing your limp mode problems.

 

I completely disagree with the above highlighted statements. I was 23 when I bought my 2008 G37S coupe and I've had 0 issues AND being under the age of "25" has nothing to do with the way you mod/treat your car.

 

I said IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25! and you don't know what you are doing! Most males under the age of 25 the first thing they want to do is race the car out! You may not be like that! but there are a lot that are!

Bottom line is OP putting down the G37 because he lied and *** up is car and now wants to come on here saying the car is junk!! GTFO!

As an Infiniti owner I have a lot love and live up to.. We have F1 Team, we have not but if the Worlds Top F1 driver leading our Team!

Our cars are very carefully built! everything Infiniti is about is based off something in Japan and has meaning..

And Infiniti is a very recent sponsor, so there's no trickle down effect, if there were to be any at all.
