Not necessarily, but if the transmission electronics got wet, then yes.

as of right now my insurance will be going to inspect the car on friday, and then infiniti will notify me of all the damages. The interior doesn't look to bad but all the electrical fuses in my car are shot. hopefully the main outsource/computer that runs everything is fine otherwise it will be pretty expensive. my deductible is 750 so everything after that my insurance will cover.

Damn.. I saw another member post a distant picture of the parking lot being flooded. We were wondering if it was a member here..

Well atleast if its totalled, you can get a newer G? Always a bright side to a negative side!
