Feels good to actually own it outright rather than rent it from Infiniti or co-own it with a finance company or bank, doesn't it? Congrats! It is now an asset rather than a liability. Now think of the power of the extra money every month if you save it or invest it for the next several years instead of blowing it or turning around and buying another new car right away. You could possibly retire much earlier or have a higher standard of living when you do retire. I think my last payment is next month come to think of it...
I'll be keeping this one for a while. No need to get a new car right away. I put 55K miles on her after 5 years which I don't think is that bad. I'll definitely enjoy not sending monthly payments to the finance company though
I know how ya feel, without going into details I was fortunate enough to pay off our our '08 coupe, buy my '12 M and replace my '00 Xterra with a '12 Xterra and don't owe anyone a cent. It's wonderful peace of mind that I'm in great shape car wise and don't have to worry about it for many years.
