Picking up our new IPL!
About to go and take a delivery of our new IPL from the dealer. The wife chose this car in the blink of an eye and would not want to look at anything else. I could not get her to move over to 335is or any other car other than M3. She figured this car would be enough for her.
After doing the research I am really excited about this car now as well. Seems like it is really good value for all that you get, and will keep me from wanting to mod it further with all cool IPL sport bits. After 15 years of modding cars I finally realized that it is best to buy the top of the line and keep it stock. Now if I can just stick to that principle... lol
Looking forward to being a part of the community here and will be posting pics later.

I love the wheels, bumper with fogs, sideskirts, not too crazy about the rear bumper, but exhaust is also nicer, and the red seats... very nice. I don't like the price tag too much, but if you can afford it, do it right? Most would advise to just get the Sport fully loaded and then just replace the bumpers and stuff, but it is a time-saver to have everything already installed and tuned from factory!
All you'll need is some window tint (if the wife likes dark windows, mine loves them), and maybe a drop. It's such a nice car overall.
Welcome to the family, and post some pics when you get a chance!

Thanks guys!
With respect to M3, the one we would want was in 90s. A bit pricy, especially since this is the last year for the model until it is redesigned completely. It is either 2014 M3, or Super G for me in about a year. So the IPL seemed like a good bang for the buck for the wife since she wanted to stay in the coupe.
I finally ended up driving it later today and it is a sporty car. Certainly feels and sounds like it. It could use more TQ, but otherwise very nice. There is really nothing to complain about other than I told my wife that she will have to put up with the sportiness of the car everyday, which could get a bit tiring. I certainly prefer my S class to the 911 on daily drives to work.
Anyhow, pics attached - sorry about the quality. The car is a looker!

The color is really nice, looks black and shade of purple as well. What is the color of the car? Also what else did the wife look at for comparison other than the 335i? What about the S5?
