One week ago...

I drove home my new 2012 G37S coupe. Today I discovered this forum, which I am already a member of. I guess I got automatically registered from signing up at g35 driver? Anyway, on to the pics...

Congratulations! Enjoy. And, notwithstanding the fact that you have been a member here longer than the vast majority of active board users, welcome...

Nice. Congratulations! Great color.
I am a fan of the sport
bumper. I looked for a lip for it but nobody seems to make them. Do you have any changes planned? What features do you enjoy the most so far?

Oh man...brand new! SWEET!

I assume you come from a G35. If so, how do they compare? And I don't mean to clown or look down on the G35, I was actually going to buy one before I decided to go for the G37. I liked the straight lines of the G35 back, and that nice spoiler...

I love the fact that yours already comes with the headlights blacked out, and fog lights... I love your bumper and am considering doing a swap. I have an '08.

What are your future mods? Or are you staying stock?

This forum is awesome, the guys here have saved me a lot of money through DIYs. So far I've done my transmission and differential fluids, oil change, throttle body clean up, clutch and brake fluid exchange, LED swap out, HID bulb replacement, finding a hard-to-find fuse (for me at least lol), advise on lowering springs and spacers, and probably more that I can remember, all learned at some level from a DIY here...

You'll have fun with your new G, that's for certain!

I actually traded in a 2008 altima coupe 3.5SE, which was a good little car while I had it. I really wanted a G35 coupe back in the day, even test drove a used one when I registered at g35driver. The look of the Altima coupe being so similar to the G35 coupe was what made me want one back when they came out, but eventually I started wanting a ride that was actually sporty and not just sporty looking. Last year my wife was looking for a new car and we ended up getting a EX35 AWD with Nav, and it was just so nice I wanted my ride to measure up to it. I tried installing heated leather seats and a Sat/NAV/backup cam head unit in the altima, which was nice, but still not the same. I had a lot of equity in it so I traded up and am quite pleased.

Yep my old altima coupe was white with black interior also, my favorite color combo. My wife didn't like that this car was so similar looking, but the difference to me is like night and day. As far as mods go, other than the tint that is still curing, choosing the sport package is all the modification I need..... For now and a while to come anyway. All legit from the factory and non-warranty voiding goodness.

I'm pretty sure it's still an additional option. Even if you buy the Sport. I purchased a SPort and it didn't come with mud gaurds. I bought them seperately about a month later.
