Front Bumper upgrades on 08 sport coupe - Opinions wanted - Splitter vs. Lips
Front Bumper upgrades on 08 sport coupe - Opinions wanted - Splitter vs. Lips
Alright - I know the saying "Do what you like - it's your car" applies here. However I have done a lot of thread searching and have noticed there seems to be a handful of people who have started with Splitters (Stillen) - and then moved to painted and integrated bumper lip kits (Stillen, AIT, JP Vizage, others).
I do want to do something to my front bumper, but am torn. I've always liked the splitter look, but also like the lips (so far Stillen and AIT are the two looks I lean towards).
Is there a reason people move away from the Splitters after running them for a while? Cost difference doesn't seem to be that much.
So I'm starting a poll and am highly interested in the opinions of those who have been down this road already - and those who have not yet gone this direction.
If it helps - my car is a K51 Graphite 6MT with Forgestar F14 20's, Swift springs, and FI exhaust. That's all I've done so far.

I had them all except Stillen lip and I personally felt splitter was best. AIT I was never a fan of their fitment. Stillen lip I never had but heard it was great fitment and polyurethane always a plus! JP lip is also nice but expensive. Autokits also a great option ! GL with your decision, for
Me the splitter adds a nice finishing touch and is priced right with no pairing required just slap on and GO!

I had the Stillen Splitter for 5 months and then swapped for the Aero front... Splitter was def a nice mod... follows the lines of the G well, polyurathane, and great fitment... got lots of compliments on the splitter... Best of luck and happy modding...
