what everyone think about me getting my rear valence wrapped black? and my roof ?

 

I personally love the blacked out top look. If i didn't drive a black G i would get mine wrapped black 100% and also, very nice tail lights.. im taking mine to do that exact same tint tomorrow
Its just a 45% tint overlay right? I always wanted to see what the exact % is for it. I didn't want it completely black i just wanted the bright red eliminated.

Yea the place I went to had 3 shades light, medium, dark... I chose medium and they said that's the equivalent to 45% tint. And i don't like completely black either. Thanks for the compliments Ive been thinking alot on the dark wrap on my rear valence and roof...but not sure if will look good on my dark grey IPL. It looks sick on all white G37's just not sure if it will have the same affect on my IPL

 

I like the roof idea but for the valence, I think you should get the autokits-x v2 diffuser

 

^ I've never been a fan of the autokits valance. Every time I see it I am reminded of this OEM on the Pontiac Vibe.

 

Thats a good question. I love the black roof look. If I didn't have a black car, I'd do it. Im not sure about the rear valence either way.

If you want to do it, def do the roof first and see how you feel.

 

He does not want to do just black on that color. He wants to keep some shade of gray in what ever he does.

Black will just over power everything and look bad.

i would neither do the roof nor the valence. the ipl rear bumper's curve looks really nice and should be left as is
i wouldn't worry too much about the whole 'black' thing as all of your exterior trim IS black. i dont get how it 'doesn't match'.

 

bro i think im wrapping my roof and mirrors gloss black. Do it if your going to have mostly black on your car if your going with carbon fiber, IMO i wouldn't

looks great. personally if i were to de-badge i would take it all off or nothing. dont care what the norm is. thats just me. i would go darker on the lights but i read you dont care for those. looks sweet!
