Finally, the search is over. Glad to have finally pulled the trigger. Restraint is hard.
'10 G37x Coupe, Graphite Shadow/Graphite (oh yeah, it's a double graphite)
Premium & Navigation Packages and the highly coveted first aid kit and trunk net
44191 miles, clean car and clean 1 owner carfax, $26,250. What a two-year-old awd luxury performance coupe bargain.
I'd post pics except I'm in Colorado and the car is in Jersey.
First mods will be mag paddle shifters, Stillen CAI, tow hitch (bring it on you haters), hand controls (cause gimps gotta drive too), and something to replace that chrome lip spoiler that looks like John Water's mustache.

Tow hitch now considered rice? I think it could only be considered rice if I put a fire blowing jet engine into the receiver.
With the good maintenance history, the miles didn't bother me. It's got nearly new tires. I bought it at the dealership so I didn't get much info on previous owner. I't only been owned for 26 months, so unless he lived in his vehicle, most likely they were highway miles. Actually, this is the fewest miles I've ever bought on a used vehicle. I've got a good amount of warranty left to work out any problems.
About 6 grand less than buying the car locally. AWD vehicles are worth a ton here.

Yeah that's the one. I was looking primarily at '09's, but I liked the next gen nav in the '10. The nav is the big feature I was looking for, so to have voice recognition, restaurant reviews, and traffic and weather updates was too big a plus in the '10. I'm not worried about the miles as it was about what I was expecting on an '09. I choose higher reliability vehicles, so mileage isn't as big a concern. You get a better depreciated value, with the money I saved, I'll easily be able to pay for the extra maintenance a slightly higher mileage may require. I still think this should go for another 100-150k.
The other reality, a wheel chair is hard on the exterior and interior of a vehicle. I couldn't count the number of scratches on my present vehicle. I will take more precautions to protect this vehicle, but I'd rather scratch up a $26k car, whereas if I bought it new, I'd always be sensitive about any little rash. It's like getting a new snowboard. You worried about the slightest rash, until you get that first big gouge, and then it's like game on. No more need to worry about what will inevitably happen anyway, and just enjoy beating the crap out of your equipment.
