If you do your own mod with "cost effective" way, there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure any of you would do it to save a buck, if you had the proper instruction and material. The way OP worded is kind of insensitive in my opinion, since he's got the IPL kit and now the price is up, so he's happy. He may not meant it by happy due to he's got it, but happy because it's more exclusive?! but anyway, people would look at it the obvious way, which means he's happy he's got it, and haha!

That's a whole different debate in itself my friend. In this case i believe it is, there altering the way the car looked aesthetically from its original state. However that's not the only thing that was mentioned, painting calipers was brought up as well, and like a previous person said we have all seen work like that, that's lasted and looks great.

Aero/IPL body is made to order from Japan and not fake.
I was not calling people getteo! I was saying it's Getteo to put the Aero/IPL front bumper on your car and have holes left with no Fogs! Just looks bad!
Maybe I am just getting old! but I work my *** off to pay for real parts and have them placed on my car in the correct way. I just tired of seeing G37 getting run down with cheap mods, people taking spry paint to there brakes! or putting on fake cheap looking parts made in china!
I'm sorry but going down to the local autoshop and buying cans of paint and painting your wheels looks very cheap and is very poor taste! or like putting your start button in the ash tray! or just all other cheap mods out there.
I just hate the fact I paid all this money for a car like this and to see it being pissed on by sorry very young people who just want a pocket rocket!!
I am happy the price went back up!! Infiniti needs to keep the Aero parts away from all the kids!

Im going to be very honest now. I totally get where you are coming from. But not all thoughts should be spoken or written. You got the IPL to be special... to have that special edition. But hey, if you wanted more exclusivity, you should have just modded an, "s" to run 11's in the quarter mile. Now THAT "exclusive".

Honestly this thread got me off my wallet and onto the website to finally buy mine before the price jumps! (BlueSlate)
Picked up IPL front and skirts along with the washer-fluid replacement and the black front trim pieces. Gonna pick me up some sentra fogs...

Yeah. My car is all stock now and I still have that ghetto backup cam mounted under my rear bumper. That's just temporary and I have something coming soon. My car will be the ghettoest G around here.
