Ya...really not that hard to get the cover off. However, just make sure your battery doesn't die. I went 3 years befor my fob even exhibited signs of the battery starting to go.

If someone lets their fob die completely, they either are too dumb to have one, or should maybe buy a Honda or something that doesn't have one. There's really no reason the fob battery to go completely dead.

Just my .02

Don't let the battery in your fob die. It will show up on your dash for several weeks that the battery is low in the fob. Now if the car battery dies, do as Kidkane said

Thanks, I assumed there was a keyhole on the passenger side without checking.

This is a simple mod that looks super easy to do. I called the local dealer parts department twice this afternoon, but kept getting their voicemail. Hopefully I'll get a person tomorrow.

Ahhh so its just a cover, I see. Things happen and it doesn't mean someone should own a Honda. I know a few women that tend to procastinate things till it too late. It wouldn't be a first.

Thats Blue Slate. I would imagine only the last letter would change for paint code.

Just following up. The local Infiniti dealer got me one for $29.95 + tax.

At first, I thought getting the old one off was going to be tricky, but I was able to hold the door handle open and get a little screwdriver in the gap to pop the tab off and it came off pretty easily.
