My 2012 G37XS

Going on week 3 of owning my new G3XS. I love this car and the looks I get on the street. I am coming from a Dodge Charger R/T with Crsa exhaust so the only thing I miss is that deep growl but this baby does have a hell of a growl on its own.

First thing Im looking at doing is TINT. Last time I had my car tinted, the law prohibited tint in the passenger/driver windows but am now looking forward since you can get them tinted with 35%. Would you get them all tinted the same amunt or black out the back windows and do all you can in the front?

Sexy car, makes me miss my oem front bumper a lil bit.
I'm in the same pickle as you with the tint, I love the GS but not sure how a "dark" tint would look. I've had mine about a month and it looks great not tinted but the sun and ppl looking at me is starting to bother me.

Yeah maybe a light tint? I'm thinking about getting it done soon also. I don't think I'll go too dark. I love the color though

I'd go with what ever % is legal, but make it the same all around. When the side windows and the quarter windows don't match, it kills the flow of the roof-line from the side. Having it the same helps to hide the b-pillar and makes the side glass look like a complete/smooth shape.

No you are right, that wheel gap is probably the most I have seen on a stock G! DEFinetly make a drop your second purchase, very 4x4 right now.

Nice color and welcome to the G family!

Congrats on the new purchase.

I can't believe you like the loud azz growl that a lot these American cars have. I hate that loud ****. Well take that back if it was loud and fast, then i would have a problem but a lot street american cars like the chargers, challenger, mustangs, are loud but slow. Well expect for the SRT-8 and the 6.0 mustangs hahaa.

I think the exotic sound of a G is far sexier than any American V8. Although I do love the sound of a Mustang.

Anyway nice car and don't let people give you crap about wheel gap. There are a lot of us that keep our cars stock. Oh and even though I live in Vegas I don't have tint on my car. I don't know but I think it looks better with out it.

Great looking car! I got mine tinted 20% front two and 5% for the back two. It looks like a very subtle transition from kind of black to pitch black for the small windows.

A transition from like 35% to 5% may not look so good. I think 35% up front and 20% in the back would be a very smooth transition. I can imagine it being smoother from 35% to 20% than 35% to 5%. I've seen a few cars (not a G37) with that sort of tint and (IMO) it didn't look too nice.

Good luck! Post pics!

OP, nice car, I think 35% all around would add to the car and not draw too much attention from Uncle Leo while providing some sun and privacy protection

Taz, you are not in the North west area, are you? I see an IPL up here from time to time.
