Megan Axle-Back Exhaust

I really like this exhaust but I'm wanting more gains so to complete the whole exhaust or even just get it to a catback, what pipes would I have to get? Im guessing for the whole exhaust I woul have to get mid and a Y pipe?

you would be correct. axle back + mid pipe + y pipe = cat back. add some hfcs and you'll get more gains

Do you have the exhaust already? How do you like the sound compared to the stock? Is it noticeably louder?

I will be buying my G37-S this week (coming from a subaru WRX) and will also be adding a Megan racing axelback as a first mod!

I've been researching on youtube, just type in ''g37 megan exhaust'' to hear the exhaust note/loudness..

Definitely seems louder in the videos but people keep giving mixed reviews!

Yeah! If you add high flow cats It will definitely be louder... I'm coming from owning a WRX and that thing was fully catless and had super loud deep rumble. My gf doesn't like the whole loudness thing. Megan axelback seems loud at high RPM's, but not that high when easy on the gas. So I will probably end up going with the Megan axelback, as I'm going to purchase it before I buy my G37s (some incentive lol )

I have the Megan Drift spec on my Z. Its a true dual exhaust. Sounds great for the Z, but for my taste it would be too loud for the G. Anyway there were two different Megan exhaust systems that I had seen. To me the drift spec sounds 10x better than the other Megans. I went cat back and it has a great sound. Oh I also went with titanium tips

Here is a vid of it on a Z
